What To Expect

What is hot yoga?

There are many types of yoga out there, but at Pav we use heat to help warm our bodies more quickly. This enables us to go deeper into the poses safely. The room is heated to 90 degrees with added humidity.

What is power yoga?

Power yoga is composed of vinyasas to connect the poses to one another. A vinyasa is a series of four separate poses: high plank, low plank, upward facing dog and a downward facing dog.

What do I wear?

Wear what you are comfortable in! Be mindful that the room is warm so you are likely to sweat! Wearing yoga leggings and an athletic tank is a great way to enjoy your yoga session.

What do I bring?

We have mats, blocks, straps, towels and water at the studio for you to use. Don't have a yoga mat? No worries we have mats at the studio for $3.00 rental fee.

What Do We Offer?

Hot Power Vinyasa: These classes all have the same sequence but are all taught a little differently due to our awesome instructors and their killer personalities. All of the classes have the same backbone of poses that we follow in the sequence we teach, but some may vary.

We teach vinyasa yoga which includes a high to low plank into an upward facing dog and finishing the sequence with a downward facing dog.

There are modifications and variations that can be substituted for a majority of the poses.

Yoga Sculpt: Yoga with weights and bands that incorporates five components (aerobic exercise, flexibility, strength training, core exercise and balance training) within a 60 minute period. It will challenge your muscles in a new way and create more endurance as you push your limits. We will use light weights with high reps in some of our favorite yoga poses.

Flow Jams: These classes pack a punch! Flow Jams is a class that is set to a playlist of the week and it can range from Prince to Pitbull. They are super fun and upbeat! They are still modeled after the sequence that we teach throughout the week but they are a little faster paced.

Flow Down: Our popular sequence but slowed down to focus on breath and movement. We move slower in these classes and hold the poses for a longer amount of time. These are highly suggested for our beginners that want to come see what we are all about!

Weekend Warrior 75: Get ready to get your heart pumping and sweat rolling. Our Weekend Warrior 75 is the Baptiste sequence with an additional 15 minutes of work. Best way to get the weekend started!

Flow & Rest 75: Gentle vinyasa flow with a generous amount of rest and restorative yoga towards the end of class. Relax before heading into you week ahead of you.
